During times when your jewellery isn’t being worn we recommend that it is kept in a dark and dry place, ideally an air tight jewellery box.
All Sterling Silver and Gold Jewellery can be affected by chemicals therefore we suggest where possible to keep your jewellery away from swimming pools, hot tubs and sea water. Perfume, sun cream, hair spray and body lotion can also have a negative effect on your jewellery therefore it’s advised that exposure to these products is kept to a minimum.
To revitalise your jewellery we recommend our jewellery polishing cloths which are impregnated with a polishing compound. For those difficult places to get to we advise using a soft toothbrush with warm water. Using your jewellery polishing cloth every two months or so will help keep your jewellery looking fabulous.
Our 18ct gold and rose gold vermeil jewellery is 925 Sterling Silver coated with a hard layer of 18ct gold or rose gold. Over a period of time the coating will gradually wear away. This is normal wear and tear and should not be considered a fault. When cleaning your 18ct gold vermeil jewellery we suggest only a very gentle wipe with a jewellery polishing cloth. Try to avoid buffing too hard as this may wear the gold coating prematurely.
